A Mayville man is facing several charges after three operating meth labs were found inside his residence. Members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the DEA Clandestine Lab Team executed a search warrant at 7246 Beaujean Road shortly after 11:15 AM Thursday. 42-year-old John Noel III was taken into custody on charges of 5th-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. The charges stem from an investigation alleging that Noel sold quantities of methamphetamine from his residence to a Task Force agent. During the course of the investigation, officers learned that Noel was manufacturing meth inside his home. A search of his residence found three separate working meth labs, 12 ounces of meth oil, a quantity of methamphetamine, lab equipment, money, scales, packaging materials, and other narcotic substances. Noel will be charged with additional counts of 5th-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, as well as several other charges pertaining to the possession and manufacturing of methamphetamine. Noel was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $75,000 cash bail. The Mayville Volunteer Fire Department, Chautauqua County HAZMAT Team, and McCutcheon Hazardous Materials removal company assisted at the scene.
