Fredonia Mayor Steve Keefe has announced that there will be a parade in the village on July 11th to memorialize Alonzo Cushing. The Civil War hero received the Congressional Medal of Honor from President Obama posthumously last fall. The parade will begin at noon on July 11th. More details will be coming out in the near future according to Keefe.
