Edwards, who made his comments Monday on "Viewpoint," says the county home is slated to lose $10,000 a day, which would essentially deplete its fund balance by the end of 2012, and force a tax hike to keep it running as it operates. But Edwards says he doesn't want to go that route...

Last Wednesday, the county legislature approved a measure supporting the selection of Marcus and Millichap to handle the marketing. The measure, which was tabled last month, was approved 13 to 11.
