Route 60 to be part of State of the County message

Expect County Executive Vince Horrigan to announce a major campaign to have Route 60 upgraded between Dunkirk and Jamestown when he deliver's his State of the County message next month.  WDOE News asked Horrigan about a meeting he had with the mayors of Dunkirk and Jamestown last week when the officials attended Governor Cuomo's State of the State message.

Horrigan first expressed a need to address Route 60 last year...and his view about the project hasn't changed.

Horrigan-Still believes in need for upgrade

Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi announced his support for the effort during his State of the City message earlier this week.  Horrigan will include the Route 60 initiative in his State of the County address that will be delivered on February 25th.
