Police Seize Over $43,000 Worth of Marijuana from Jamestown Apartment

Authorities in Jamestown arrested a Falconer man Thursday afternoon after 13 pounds of marijuana valued at more than $43,000 was seized from an apartment. Drug investigators obtained a search warrant for an apartment at 8C Shirley Lane after receiving information that a large quantity of pot had been shipped to that location from outside the area. Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed the warrant around 12:40 PM and took 29-year-old Steven Greenland into custody with the drugs and about $3,000 in cash. Police say Greenland tried to jump from a rear second-story window as they approached. Officers seized more than $25,000 worth of marijuana, along with over $18,000 worth of "shatter," which is a concentrated form of marijuana. Greenland is charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of marijuana.
