A Brocton man was arrested following a fight at a residence on Lake Avenue on Wednesday. Around 3:45 PM, Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers were called to the scene, where 38-year-old Stephen Wisecarver allegedly choked and kicked someone during the altercation. Wisecarver left the scene before deputies arrived, but they found him a short time later. Wisecarver was arraigned in Brocton Village Court on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and 2nd-degree harassment.
