The State University of New York at Fredonia will hold a lecture next week to examine the science and reasoning behind New York State's ban on hydraulic fracturing. Panelists for the lecture include Dr. Sherri Mason, Professor of Chemistry and Coordinator of the university's Environmental Sciences program; Peter Reinelt, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics; and Glenn Wahl, a regional environmentalist and co-founder of Cattaraugus-Chautauqua for Clean Water. The lecture will take place at Fredonia's Williams Center on Wednesday, February 4th starting at noon. The lecture is free and open to the public.
