Horrigan Still Hopeful for a Final Plan for a North County Water District

Discussions continue over a North County Water District, and County Executive Vince Horrigan remains hopeful that a final plan can be worked out soon, possibly next month. During a recent interview on WDOE's "Viewpoint" program, Horrigan indicated that he has been on the road meeting with local officials about the project. The Chautauqua County Water Agency hasn't met since last fall, but Horrigan hopes to schedule another session next month...

Dunkirk Mayor A.J. Dolce and Fredonia Mayor Steve Keefe have indicated that there have been discussions over a possible interconnect between the communities. Horrigan says he is also aware of the talks and believes an interconnect could become part of the a final project.
