Two homeless men accused of killing a concert violinist last August during a robbery of her home in the town of Westfield have been arraigned in Chautauqua County Court today after they were indicted by a county grand jury. WDOE News has learned that 43-year-old Jonathan Conklin and 31-year-old Charles Sanford entered not-guilty pleas to several charges including second-degree murder and first-degree robbery in connection with the shooting death of Mary Whitaker. Both men are already facing federal charges related to the robbery-shooting.
