A Jamestown man was hospitalized after he lost control of his vehicle in the Town of Clymer late Wednesday afternoon. According to county sheriff's officers, 50-year-old Jeffrey Thiem was traveling east on Raspas Hill Road just after 4:30 PM, when he was unable to maintain control due to icy road conditions. Deputies say Thiem went off the road and into a ditch, which caused his vehicle to overturn. Thiem was extricated from the vehicle by Clymer and Sherman fire crews, and was then taken to the Hamot Medical Center in Erie with non-life threatening injuries.
