Robertson says jobs are the top issue in the 23rd Congressional District race

Less than a week remains in the race for the 23rd Congressional District seat and the Democratic candidate says jobs are the number one issue in the campaign. Candidate Martha Robertson was interviewed for WDOE's Viewpoint program. The Tompkins County Democrat says she has a proven record for creating jobs in her home county, which has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the state.

Robertson, who is challenging Republican incumbent Tom Reed, questions his record supporting trade agreements that she says says sends jobs overseas. Reed has pointed out during a recent debate that a free trade agreement with South Korea helped Cummins Engine with a plant near Jamestown sell its engines overseas.
