It's that time of the year...Leaf collection will begin on Monday, November 3rd in the city of Dunkirk. The City DPW reports that only leaves in bags will be picked up in the first sweep. Leaves in barrels or loose at the curb will be picked up in the next sweep. If leaves are left loose at the curb, residents are asked to keep leaves clear of receivers and utility poles and out of the street. If leaves are in bags, residents are asked to leave the bags untied.
