PSC will not hold another hearing on Dunkirk repowering project

A major obstacle to NRG Energy's Dunkirk repowering project has been cleared.  The State PSC has announced it has denied a request for a new hearing.  That's great news according State Senator Cathy Young, who has been spearheading the effort to get the project moving.

Earthjustice had requested the rehearing, which would have delayed the project.  There is still a pending lawsuit against the PSC on the Dunkirk repowering decision, with the case to be heard in State Supreme on November 7th
