Traffic stop leads to charges against two Cassadaga men

Two Cassadaga men are facing charges after a traffic stop on Lakeview Road in the town of Pomfret last evening.  State Police say that troopers stopped 52-year-old John Gelencser for failing to stop at a stop sign on Christy Road near Lakeview.  A driver's license check revealed that he had seven current suspensions, including two for failure to pay fines and five for failure to answer summons.  He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree.  They also learned that a passenger in the vehicle, 50-year-old Michael Foster, was wanted by the County Sheriff's Office on a warrant for failure to pay a fine for DWI.
