The Southern Chautauqua Federal Credit Union will be opening another branch in the north county. On Tuesday, SCFCU announced that at the beginning of November, they will open a new branch at 13 West Main Street in Brocton, the former location of a Community Bank branch that recently closed. Commenting on this new branch, Brocton Mayor Dave Hazelton said, "We are happy that Southern Chautauqua FCU has decided to open a branch in Brocton. We are glad that there is a bank that is willing to meet the needs of the residents in our area."
In preparation, the credit union will hold a membership drive and open house on Sunday, October 19th from 12:30 to 5:30 PM at the Brocton American Legion.
