A Cherry Creek man was arrested Sunday on charges stemming from a domestic violence incident at an East Randolph residence on Thursday. Cattaraugus County Sheriff's officers, with the help of State Police, arrested 68-year-old James Campbell on charges of 2nd-degree burglary and petit larceny. Deputies say Campbell, in an attempt to break into the victim's home, broke the garage door, then tried to go in through the front door, and in doing so, knocked the victim to the floor. Campbell then went into the garage and allegedly stole a kayak. Campbell was arraigned in Randolph Town Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.
