The two suspects in the alleged murder of Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra violinist Mary Whitaker gave written confessions to police shortly after their arrests last week in Erie, Pennsylvania. That from Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace, who says 43-year-old Jonathan Conklin and 30-year-old Charles Sanford were arrested separately -- in different locations. Gerace says the statements have been a key part of the investigation, and they are working hard to close any "loopholes" that may exist between what Conklin and Sanford are saying and the evidence that's been found.
