Area firefighters will be holding "Fill the Boot" events this Friday to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Dunkirk City Professional Firefighters Local 616 will be collecting from 9 am to 5 pm on Central Avenue at Fourth Street in Dunkirk. And for the first time, Fredonia Firefighters Local 2931 will be collecting at the corner of Temple and Church Streets in Fredonia from noon to 5 pm on Friday.
