Fredonia Village Trustees have rejected a bonding resolution for the purchase of a $47,000 double drum vibrating roller. The resolution picked up three votes, but needed the support of four trustees. Mayor Steve Keefe says the current roller is in bad shape.

Since one of the trustees was absent from the meeting, the resolution is expected to be presented again at a future board meeting. Trustee Marc Ruckman voted against the measure.
