The minimum sewer rate increase will be $25 per quarter, or $100 per year, while the water rate increase will be 10 cents per thousand gallons. Keefe says the village is also closing the projected $1.5 million spending gap by cutting several positions...

Steve Keefe: will hold off on figures

WDOE News has learned that a total of seven full-time positions will be cut, and another full-time position will be reduced to part-time. Other moves include the elimination of all seasonal employees at the DPW and a reduction of hours for part-time police by 2,000 hours. Overall spending in the budget is down by about 5.8 percent.
