Long Point State Park, near Bemus Point, will receive a $1 million state grant for improvements to its municipal sewage system. The project was announced by Governor Cuomo this afternoon as part of a $90 million fund in the 2014-15 state budget to improve state parks and historic sites. Long Point was the only state park in Chautauqua County to receive any grant money. Allegany State Park in Cattaraugus County landed two grants totaling $1.5 million.
