Next year's closing of the Carriage House facilities in the North County area continues to be a top concern of Southern Tier Congressman Tom Reed who says he continues to work with local leaders to find a developer. During a conference call Monday with media outlets including WDOE News, Reed indicated that he remains in touch with County Executive Vince Horrigan.

Over 400 jobs are in jeopardy with the plant closings in 2015. Reed says he also has had regular conversations with ConAgra officials. Last week, County Executive Horrigan told WDOE News that there's been quite a bit of interest in the facilities. Reed says he continues to offer the services of his office to assist workers as they deal with the pending plant closings.
