Jamestown Police have released the identity of the 16-month-old girl who was beaten to death Wednesday night. Police Captain Bob Samuelson says Nayla Hodnett was brought from a home at 218 1/2 Newland Avenue to WCA Hospital's emergency room by her mother. Hodnett was later transferred to Buffalo Women and Children's Hospital, where she later died. Samuelson says an autopsy was then performed at the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office...

Samuelson wouldn't say if police found anything. He says no arrests have been made yet, but the mother and her boyfriend are considered persons of interest at this point.
