A Randolph school bus driver accused of having inappropriate relations with a 6-year-old boy has had all sex charges against him dropped. District Attorney David Foley says a plea deal was reached Wednesday between 67-year-old John Hitchcock and the boy's family. Hitchcock was originally charged with seven counts of 1st-degree sexual abuse. Those charges were dropped, and as part of the deal, he pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child. Hitchcock was accused of sexually abusing the boy from September to October 2012 between Randolph and Ashville. He will be sentenced on July 14th.
