Barb Albert to Speak on Rachel Carson
Sunday, April 15 2018 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua welcomes Barb Albert to the pulpit on Sunday April 15. As we prepare to celebrate Earth Day, Albert will remember Rachel Carson, a woman who followed her curiosity, her passion, and science to make a difference in our world. Immediately following the service there will be a finger food potluck at 12:15. To kick off Earth Week, the Fragile Earth Film Series continues at 1pm with a free viewing of the film “Home” a documentary from 2009. A trailer for the film can be seen here: https://youtu.be/92kt3JUwtgk The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua is a liberal religious community devoted to promoting individual spiritual development, working toward peace, liberty and justice in our immediate and global communities, and providing companionship on life’s sacred journey.
