The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office will be holding a boaters safety course at the Lawson Center in Bemus Point on May 26th andJune 2nd

The course is free for ages 10 - 17. 18 and older will have to pay a $10 fee to receive their certification card.

This course is required for anyone born after May 1996 to operate any vessel in NYS anyone born prior to May 1996 is exempt from this requirement unless they plan to operate a personal watercraft.
