Join us at the studio for Jamestown's 3rd Community Wide Clothing Swap, hosted by Kara. Clothing swaps are are like shopping at a vintage or thrift store, but free! As you pull your winter clothes out of storage and put your summer clothes in their place, pull out any items that no longer serve you and are in good condition to bring along to the swap. You can bring just one item, ten, or none. Arrive to the studio around start time or 15 minutes before to help set up and display what you've brought along with everyone else's. We'll arrange clothes by size and start swapping away.

At 4pm Kara will give an informational talk on our modern day clothing industry and how it is detrimental to the environment and to the labor that produces it. It's not all doom and gloom though, Kara will also share alternative ways to improve your closet, one being to swap!Light snacks, coffee, and tea provided. Help us reduce waste by bringing a reusable bag or backpack to take your items home in.

*Please refrain from bringing garbage bags full of clothes, it's too much to handle.*.
