Busti Grist Grain Grinding Demo
Sunday, November 19 2017 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Watch us grind grain the 3rd Sunday of every month! The Busti Mill is a historic grist mill located in the Town of Busti in Chautauqua County, New York. It was built in 1839 and remained in operation until 1960. It produced wheat flour, cornmeal, buckwheat flour, and animal feed. In 1973, it became property of the Busti Historical Society. In 2013 the mill was restored to operation and rededicated to the community.
If you have grain to grind, would like to see a demonstration, or would like to tour the mill while not in operation, please email us.
