Anderson-Lee Library Kicks Off Summer Reading Events iCal

Tuesday, June 27 2017 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
This year Anderson-Lee Library’s summer reading program’s theme is “Build a Better World!” Join us for the kickoff to 6 weeks of reading and fun on Tuesday June 27 from 2-4 pm. At 2pm we will hold registration and special activities, including the ever popular library scavenger hunt. All children from birth to 18 years old are invited to register and will receive a free book when they register. Adults are encouraged to register too! At 3pm all ages are invited to enjoy a performance by Defiant Monkey! This two-person improvisational group creates on-the-spot theatre, based on audience suggestions and participation, like you see on the TV show Whose Line is It Anyway? Registration for the performance is required. Please call (716) 934-3468 or stop by 43 Main Street to sign up. Please note that registration for summer reading begins Tuesday, June 27 and continues throughout the 6-week program. If you can’t make the kickoff event, stop by anytime during open library hours to register. Or register online at www.andersonleelibrary.com.
