Presented by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Jamestown, this Ken Burns film is an account of a daring rescue mission that occurred on the brink of World War II. It explores the lives and work of the Sharps, a young Unitarian minister and his wife, as they undertook vital missions in Nazi-occupied Europe to rescue Jews, dissidents, and refugee children at great personal sacrifice. Refreshments at 6:30, screening at 7 p.m., followed by discussion led by Gregory Peterson, co-founder and board member of the Jackson Center.
