11th Annual Fundraiser for the Lakers Disabled Hockey Team Hosted by the Chaut. Co. Sheriff's Office

On March 18th at 6 pm the Chautauqua County Sheriff will be hosting their 11th annual fundtaiser for the Jamestown Lakers Disabled Hockey Team. Members of the sheriff's office will play in an exhibition sled hockey game against the sill undefeated Laker's Team. This years event is being held during part of "The Special Hockey Extravaganza Tournament" at the Northwest Savings Bank Ice Arena. There will be players from the USA Hockey Team taking part in the game, and signing autographs. These players are both gold and silver medal winners of the World Nationals and the Olympics.
100% of the proceeds from this event goes towards supporting the Laker's sled hockey program. The Laker's operate exclusively from fundraisers and private donations. There are no cost to the families of these disable athletes, it provides an opportunity for everyone to play.
There is no cost to come to the event. There will be a Chinese auction and a 50/50 drawing. We are asking the public for help with either a donation, or an item for our auction. Pick up can be made available. Anyone willing to help these disabled kids is asked to contact either Laker's head coach Rod Kolstee at 716-708-8727, or Deputy Hover at 716-499-7697. Tickets for our Chinese aution will go on sale March 17th and 18th. You don't have to be present to win.
