A Buffalo man was arrested on several charges after he got pulled over for speeding last weekend in the Town of Pomfret. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Andrew Mergenhagen on Route 60 early Saturday morning. An investigation found that Mergenhagen was allegedly intoxicated, and he had a prior drunk driving conviction within the past 10 years. He was charged with felony DWI, operating without an ignition interlock device, speeding, and refusal of pre-screen breath test, then remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
