A traffic stop in the Town of Kiantone led to the arrest of a Jamestown man on Friday. State Police in Jamestown pulled over a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Adam Apperson for speeding on Route 62 and later smelled marijuana emanating from his vehicle. Apperson was allegedly found to be in possession of a pipe containing marijuana residue, and a license check revealed that he had a bench warrant for a prior marijuana charge. Apperson was issued a speeding ticket and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, then arraigned in Carroll Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
