A traffic stop on I-86 near Jamestown on Thursday led to a marijuana charge against an Ohio woman. State Police pulled over 20-year-old Ariel Packer of Columbus, Ohio for speeding, and while speaking to Packer, smelled marijuana emanating from inside her vehicle. A search of Packer and the vehicle revealed a bag containing four grams of marijuana, and bottle containing three grams of marijuana, and a pipe containing marijuana residue. Packer was issued an appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana, as well as a traffic ticket, and is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Town Court later this month.
