A traffic stop early Sunday in the Town of Pomfret led to a drunk driving charge against a Rochester-area man. Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers pulled over a speeding vehicle on Route 20 shortly after 2:00 AM. An investigation found the driver, 52-year-old Stanley Stevens, Jr. of East Rochester, was allegedly intoxicated. Stevens is scheduled to appear in Pomfret Town Court on charges of DWI and speed in zone.
