A man from Asheville, North Carolina was charged with felony DWI after a traffic stop early Sunday morning in the Town of Dunkirk. At about 1:15 AM, Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 that failed to stop at a red light. Following an investigation, deputies charged 42-year-old Nicolas Dionne with felony DWI, failure to stop at a red light, and refusal of a pre-screen breath test. The DWI charge was a felony due to Dionne having a prior drunk driving conviction within the last 10 years.
