An investigation into an illegal hunting complaint resulted in a DWI charge against a Portland woman. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies assisted New York State Environmental Conservation Police with the complaint on West Avenue in Portland shortly after 9:15 PM Sunday. A vehicle was found to be involved in the incident, and deputies determined that the driver, 51-year-old Kristin Allen, was intoxicated. Allen will appear in Portland Town Court on the DWI charge.
