A Dunkirk man is facing a DWI charge after a traffic stop in the Village of Silver Creek early this morning. 31 year old Juan Navarrate was stopped by Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies after he was observed moving from a lane unsafely on route 20. After further investigation, Navarrate was allegedly intoxicated. He was taken into custody and later released with tickets for DWI, DWI per se, move from lane unsafely, open container, unlicensed operator and 3rd degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Navarrate is scheduled to appear in the Village of Silver Creek at a later date.
