A Silver Creek man will appear in court after he allegedly violated an order of protection last weekend. On Sunday, Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers were called to a location on Angell Road in the Town of Hanover. Further investigation found that 37-year-old Robert Shumaker was allegedly violating an order of protection issued out of Hanover Town Court. Shumaker was issued an appearance ticket charging him with 2nd-degree criminal contempt.
