A Dunkirk man is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop early Saturday in the Town of Hanover. Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers pulled over a vehicle on Routes 5 and 20 for a traffic violation just after 12:15 AM. Deputies say the driver, 47-year-old Omar Lao, was found to have a revoked license. Lao was issued tickets for insufficient tail lamps, unlicensed operator, and 2nd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
