An Ashville man faces a drunk driving charge after a traffic stop early Sunday morning in Ashville. Chautauqua County Sheriff's officers pulled over a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Michael Brown for a violation on College Street at about 12:45 AM. Upon speaking with Brown, deputies determined that he was intoxicated. Brown was charged with DWI common law, refusal to take a breath test, failure to maintain lane, and failure to signal. He was released to a sober person and will appear in North Harmony Town Court at a later date.
