A Gowanda man is facing charges after he was stopped for speeding in the Town of Hanover on Friday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies pulled over 44-year-old Giulio Bevilacqua near the intersection of Route 39 and Hanover Road just after 8:45 PM. Upon further investigation, deputies determined that Bevilacqua's driver's license was suspended in New York State. He was charged with 3rd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding and will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
