A Dunkirk man is facing several charges including DWI after a traffic stop on Route 60 in the town of Pomfret early Sunday morning. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies say they observed a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Robbie Wells make a wide left turn onto Route 60 from Route 60. The vehicle went onto the curb and nearly into the Country Fair parking lot. After stopping the vehicle and conducting an investigation, deputies arrested Wells on charges of DWI, DWI Per Se, move from lane unsafely and drove across hazard markings. Wells will answer the charges in Pomfret Town Court.
