A 36-year-old Dunkirk man is facing a DWI charge stemming from a traffic stop last weekend in Westfield. At about 8:00 PM Saturday, December 17th, Westfield Police pulled over Thomas Buchanan for speeding on North Portage Street. An investigation found that Buchanan was allegedly intoxicated after he failed several field sobriety tests. He was charged with DWI and speeding and will appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date.
