Sunday Sports Update
Top: The Buffalo Bills are usually in for a dogfight when they face the New York Jets. That was certainly the case last season, when both of their matchups were decided by one possession. The first game was a 20-17 Buffalo loss in the swamps of New Jersey, while the Bills prevailed 20-12 at Highmark Stadium in the second meeting. Now with the Bills seeking a fourth straight division title and the Jets improving their roster with the addition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, it has the makings of an interesting Monday night clash in the first week of the 2023 NFL season. Tune in to WDOE (101.5 FM/1410 AM) on Monday when the Bills and Jets battle at MetLife Stadium, with kickoff at 8:15 PM! File photos

However, that lead was erased by the midway point of the 3rd quarter, and while the Bulls regained the lead twice, a late touchdown led to a 40-37 loss at the hands of Fordham. Bottom right: For the first time in 24 years, an American teenager is a U.S. Open champion. On Saturday, 19-year-old Coco Gauff defeated soon-to-be world number one Aryna Sabalenka 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the women's finals. The last American teen to lift the U.S. Open trophy?
