City Eyes Restore NY Funding for Downtown Project

The City of Dunkirk seeks to land nearly $2 million in state funding for a downtown rehabilitation project. On Tuesday, Common Council members approved a resolution authorizing the city to apply for the grant through the latest round of Empire State Development's Restore NY Communities initiative. City Planning and Development Director Vince DeJoy says the project would involve two buildings in the 300 block of Central Avenue. One of them is the Graf Building, which is a target of potential Downtown Revitalization Initiative funding...
